Pleasure to see the hard work pay .... Hence passion is important in all you do

Image
Edited Date: 20 July 2016 Walking down the stairs of my office today, painfully tired and hungry from the days’ work, there was nice smell of food from the restaurant at the ground floor of our office building. Also, there was a buzz of noise at the floor above our office; which apparently was an opening ceremony of the business that just shifted their office above us. Food being prepared was for the same event..  While walking down those stairs, it gave me immense pleasure, watching the restaurant which happened to be our client, doing well that day and many other days to follow. I remembered sitting down with the owner of the restaurant during the marketing campaign that, the day will come when business will do good. I remembered requesting him to watch Gordan Ramsey Kitchen Nightmare episodes.. all of them. I remembered those days when our team worked hard to design attractive menus, collect feedbacks from customers and employees, coming up ...

What the Color of Your Logo Says About Your Company (Infographic)

Image
If you are building a company that depends on making people feel sexy and sophisticated, it’s probably going to confuse your consumers if you your logo is bright green. That’s because different colors are associated with different feelings. Green conveys organic growth, the earth, nature, or feelings of caring. Meanwhile, black communicates feelings of sophistication, authority or seduction. Not convinced? Consider the green logo for Starbucks or Greenpeace and the black logos of Chanel or Sony. Color isn’t the only design element that communicates with your customer about your brand. Font, spacing between letters and shape also tell your brand story in that instant when a first impression is formed. Source: entrepreneur.com

How to Check Your Motherboard Model Number on Your Windows PC

Image
Whether you need to update drivers, want to check hardware compatibility, or you’re just curious, it’s way easier to check your motherboard model number with these simple tricks than it is to crack open your computer case to check the board itself. Read on as we show you how to check your motherboard model number from the comfort of your keyboard. Why Do I Want To Do This? There are a variety of situations where knowing your motherboard’s model number is important: upgrading your drivers, buying new hardware (you’ll need the proper expansion slots for card-based upgrades and the right memory DIMMS for memory upgrades, etc.), and checking the capabilities of your board if you’re considering upgrading the entire thing.  If you kept the paperwork that came with your computer (or the individual components if you built it yourself) you can often times reference that. Even then, it’s best to check to make sure the documentation is correct. Rather than open the case and search ...

Great American road trips: Trip of a Lifetime

Image
The mythology of the American highway is as deep and long as the Grand Canyon – which you can, incidentally, drive along. Books, music and films have added glamour, ghosts and grit to what in other countries would be merely a long, even boring, drive. Jack Kerouac’s On the Road, Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 Revisited and Dennis Hopper’s Easy Rider are perhaps the best-known celebrations of the American ideal of freedom as an open road. But there are enough pop songs to soundtrack a lifetime of coast-to-coast drives and the challenge may well be to turn off the myths – and turn down the music – and make your own experience out of the journey. The vast, varied landscapes, small towns and big cities that fly-drivers pass through make the practical matters of hiring and insuring a car, driving on the right and learning a few new laws well worth it. In Arizona, you can park in the quaint desert town of Winslow, still “a fine sight to see”, on Route 66. In San Francisco, cruise up and ...
