These documents are required for our council checking services. If you are applying directly to the Home Office you will need to follow the guidance notes provided by the Home Office.

If you are an EEA National you must exercise your treaty rights. If you are an A8 EEA nationaI (entered the EU in 2004) and are working, you must have the Workers Registration. If you are a student you must have Comprehensive Sickness Insurance. Failure to do so will result in a failed application. | |

Settlement Checking Service appointment

Cohabitation documents such as joint bank accounts, mortgages and council tax (six to ten pieces of evidence for the same address must be provided over the two-year period. This could be several addresses if the couple have moved in the two-year period) | |
